Interpretation
Consecutive Interpretation
This is considered a basic interpreting technique. While the person is speaking, the interpreter takes notes and after a certain period communicates the translation.
For this reason, this type of translation takes approximately twice as long as simultaneous translation and does not allow natural fluency in a presentation.
On the other hand, it is more accurate than simultaneous translation, and does not require special equipment for the audience.
Consecutive interpreting is suitable for:
- Press conferences,
- Diplomatic negotiations,
- Courses,
- Work meetings,
- Presentation of products or services, etc.
It is a type of interpretation in which a speech, presentation, lecture, training, or any other form of verbal communication is translated into another language simultaneously, where the interpreter stays inside an acoustically isolated booth, and his or her voice is transmitted to the listeners through devices connected to headphones.
Simultaneous interpretation is generally used in meetings and conferences for a large number of people and allows the speaker to make his presentation without constant interruptions.
According to UN standards, one interpreter may perform the work of simultaneous interpretation for 40 consecutive minutes in the case of an isolated event of short duration, and in the case of a long event, longer than 40 minutes, two interpreters should work, alternating between them every 15 minutes.
In cases where the interpretation is from Portuguese into other languages, the texts will be requested at least 48 hours in advance.
Interpretation for both directions of language must be agreed with the interpreter.

Audio transcription
Audio transcription is the process of converting speech in an audio file into written text. You can use transcription tools to transcribe audio recordings, such as interviews, speeches, or academic research.
On average, it takes about four hours for a transcriber to transcribe one hour of audio. However, transcription time can vary widely depending on the audio file.
